Research connecting conversational AI, structured workflows, and human oversight.
Submitted, Accepted, and Presented at HSI 2026
Presented online on July 17, 2026, as part of the HSI 2026 conference hosted in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
ClearPath Health explores how a protocol-constrained conversational AI system can collect patient-reported information, structure intake data, and support emergency, same-day urgent, and non-urgent routing while preserving human oversight.
Evaluation: The prototype was evaluated through a controlled pilot involving 12 simulated patient-call scenarios.
Limitation: The results demonstrate proof-of-concept feasibility and should not be interpreted as clinical validation.
Human oversight: The system was designed to support intake and routing while keeping clinical decisions under human supervision.
Simplified Research Workflow
Supports intake and routing. Clinical decisions remain under human supervision.
Selected work across conversational AI, semantic search, predictive modeling, and applied data analysis.
Team Project
AI-assisted voice intake and triage prototype that structures simulated patient reports and routes them through a three-tier, human-in-the-loop workflow.
Contribution: Co-developed the prototype and co-authored the associated research paper in collaboration with a Wentworth team and Outer Cape Health Services.
Build Fellowship Project / Contributor
Semantic search project using synthetic job-title data and sentence-transformer fine-tuning to improve retrieval and grouping of non-standard job titles.
Contribution: Contributed to the project with verified work on the Streamlit application and development environment.
Individual Academic Project
Regression project exploring how demographic and academic factors relate to student mathematics performance.
Contribution: Prepared the dataset, developed regression models, and evaluated which available features were most associated with mathematics scores.
Individual Data Science Project
Exploratory and predictive analysis of housing-price factors across Boston-area datasets.
Contribution: Cleaned and analyzed multiple datasets, developed visualizations, and used regression to evaluate relationships among property, socioeconomic, and location-related features.
